Theodosius Marmaduke Velloza

Theodosius Marmaduke Velloza has been Deputy Registrar, University of Guyana from  Registry, June 22, 2009 to present. He previously served the University as both the Asst Dean  and Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. He possesses a Ph.D. in Seed-Crop Physiology/Production with a Minor in Horticulture from  the Oregon State University, USA.  His area of research is in seed vigour and deterioration. He has been a Reviewer for the Journal of Tropical Agriculture (2007 & 2010). His interest in quality assurance has driven him to earn an Advanced Professional Certificate in Quality Assurance from the Commonwealth of Learning. He has served as an external evaluator for the National Accreditation Council since 2014. He  has also been a member of the National Committee for the Coordination of Sanitary and  Phytosanitary Matters; Fisheries Advisory Committee: Ministry of Agriculture;National  Agricultural Research & Extension Institute Board; and a Member, Sub-Committee of the  National Accreditation Council.
