Mr. Fidel Captain

Mr. Captain is currently in charge of Infrastructure and IT Services at the University and is also the Assistant Chief Examiner for CAPE®, Computer Science. Prior to this, Mr. Captain worked at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College for over 15 years where he was a Senior Lecturer in Computer Studies and President of the HLSCC Faculty Association. He also consulted on website and database projects in the BVI and St. Maarten during this period. Prior to working at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, Mr. Captain worked for six years at the Ministry of Finance as a Systems Analyst/Engineer where he helped maintain the Government of Guyana's payroll system and, among other things, redesigned the pay slip and pay sheet for their payroll application.
